The new era of digital communications demands a new breed of digital agencies with experienced, creative and more flexible talent pools. When Digital StoryTelling Collective was looking to expand our talent pool through new forms of online recruitment, we were initially overwhelmed by the level and quality of responses. One position alone drew over 200 applicants, with more than 50% of applicants clearly demonstrating their ability to fill the role. We needed a faster way than phone screening to filter through these responses to create a short list of candidates. Vieple provided us with that solution.What we did not expect was how the candid nature of the Vieple interviewing process would help candidates demonstrate their organisational abilities and professionalism.
Vieple allowed us to see beyond glossy resumes and understand the true nature of candidates. Because Vieple is a recorded system, we found it a much more egalitarian way of reviewing candidates. After our experience with Vieple, I cannot envision a day where we would return to phone screening.
